In 1971 speelde ze de wonderschone Tiffany Cash in Diamonds are Forever. Jill St. John’s schoonheid trok de aandacht van kijker over de hele wereld. In 1972 nam Jill een pauze van het drukke Hollywood leven om zich te richten op koken, haar ware passie.
Hier bleek ze ook nog eens geweldig in te zijn, want al snel was ze te zien in diverse kookprogramma’s. In 1987 bracht ze zelfs haar eigen kookboek uit, getiteld The Jill St. John Cookbook.
