Cybill Shepherd – Geboren in 1950
Cybill Shepherd begon als fotomodel en trok op deze manier de aandacht van regisseur Peter Bogdanovich. Na haar ontdekking hielp Bogdanovich haar aan een rol in The Last Picture Show (1971) en schitterde zij later in de legendarische film Taxi Driver (1976). In deze klassieker speelden ook Jodie Foster en Robert de Niro. Met haar rol in Moonlighting brak zij pas echt door als Maddie Hayes, met als tegenspeler de toen nog jonge Bruce Willis. Cybill won twee Golden Globes voor haar rol in deze televisieserie en kreeg enige tijd later de hoofdrol in de sitcom Cybill.
Shepherd schreef in haar autobiografie over een relatie met Elvis Presley. Zij is inmiddels 70 jaar oud, maar heeft nog geen punt achter haar carrière gezet. Gelukkig maar voor ons! Want we kijken graag naar haar.
