Jodie Foster is een speciaal en indrukwekkend geval. Ze is van succesvolle kindster naar een nog succesvollere volwassen actrice gegaan. Op haar 14de was ze al genomineerd voor een Oscar voor haar optreden in de psychologische thriller Taxi Driver.
Tot nu toe heeft de actrice al twee Oscars ontvangen en verschillende andere onderscheidingen. Ze heeft maar liefst drie BAFTA’s en twee Golden Globe Awards gewonnen. In 2014 trouwde Jodie met Alexandra Hedison en het koppel heeft twee zoons. Laatst was Foster te zien in Hotel Artemis uit 2018.
