Gates heeft het enorme bouwwerk de “Xanadu 2.0” genoemd, naar een karakter uit Citizen Kane.Het 6100 vierkante meter grote huis staat op een enorm stuk land en is de droom van elke technologie fan, met meerdere kamers vol met de laatste technologische details.
Het heeft een uitzicht op Lake Washington, vloerverwarming, een 18 meter groot zwembad met een onderwater muziek installatie en een gigantisch 232 vierkante meter groot terrein waar Gates sport.
