Oprah Winfrey, de grootste vrouwelijke TV presentatrice in de geschiedenis van de entertainment industrie, heeft zeker geen introductie nodig. Haar $90 miljoen villa in Californië heeft er echter wel één nodig, gezien de grootte hiervan. Winfrey kocht eerst slechts een deel van het land in 2001 voor $50 miljoen, maar ze kocht later ook het omliggende land.
Momenteel staat het huis op een enorm stuk land van meer dan 250.000 vierkante meter (250 km2), compleet omringd door groen, allerlei soorten bomen, bloemen en andere planten. Ook heeft ze een mooi, groot thee huis, waar ze een groot deel van haar vrije tijd doorbrengt. In maart 2019 verscheen ze bij Apple’s persconferentie om te vertellen over haar nieuwste collaboratie met het bedrijf.
