Leonardo Dicaprio will never have to worry about money – ever. The millionaire actor and environmentalist must have had a lengthy discussion with his wealth management team before embarking on a very optimistic project. The actor decided to buy himself an island in Belize. He purchased a 104-acre island in 2005 and has been constructing an eco-resort complete with 36 homes and 36 villas. Each one will be sold for around $5 million when the project is complete and due to his passion for the environment, the island will be almost completely green. His bank account might not have even noticed that he spent a large sum of money on the project which will be powered by solar panels and clean energy. Any and all food will be grown locally and will be completely organic. The project is inspiring and the fact he has been pouring money into it for the last 10 years, it will no doubt be a paradise.
