Terry Semel – $37 Million, Malibu
Former chairman and CEO of Yahoo, Terry Semel made over half a billion while working with Yahoo then entered retirement and into a $50-million Malibu Beach property with a guest house, situated along Malibu’s Carbon Beach, dubbed “Billionaire’s Beach.” It was eventually sold for $37 million. The house, with 10,317 square feet of living space, sits on a three-quarter-acre lot and is composed of three structures that form a compound close to the sand. It has a two-story guesthouse with nine bedrooms and 13 bathrooms.
