Harvey Weinstein es conocido por ser uno de los hombres detrás de Miramax. La compañía ha trabajado en películas populares como Pulp Fiction y Shakespeare in Love. Weinstein dejó Miramax y montó su propio estudio de cine llamado The Weinstein Company.
Los enormes ingresos que Weinstein había obtenido le ayudaron a aumentar su fortuna a 300 millones de dólares en algún momento.
