Al igual que Miley Cyrus, Selena Gómez comenzó como una estrella de Disney pero con el tiempo se convirtió en un gran nombre en la industria de la música también. Los dos álbumes de Gómez, Revival y Stars Dance, fueron ambos muy exitosos. Gómez también gana una fortuna con los patrocinadores. De hecho, su contrato de patrocinio con Puma le hizo ganar un cheque de 30 millones de dólares.
Mientras tanto, su apoyo como coach se estimó en alrededor de 10 millones de dólares. A Gómez también se le paga alrededor de $500-$800 mil por los post patrocinados de Instagram. En 2019, Gómez aparecerá en una película llamada The Dead Don’t Die.
