Dries Roelvink, de zanger die bekender is van de realityserie De Roelvinkjes en de reclame van de ANWB dan van het zingen, heeft goed geboerd. Met 10 miljoen euro op zijn bankrekening hoeft hij niet zo nodig meer aandacht te trekken met de gele zwembroek en de schreeuwerige persoonlijkheid. Alsof status belangrijker is dan comfort heeft Roelvink senior gekozen voor een deftig appartement aan de PC Hooftstraat in Amsterdam, waar het natuurlijk prijzig vertoeven is. Veel ruimte of luxe heb je er niet.
Het blijft een klein appartement, hoewel het bijna een miljoen euro waard is. De keuken is een beetje aan de kleine kant en we kunnen ons nauwelijks voorstellen dat die houten vloeren de boel niet een tikkeltje gehorig maken, daar in de meest chique straat van Amsterdam.
