Cassandra Peterson – Geboren in 1951
Cassandra Peterson is misschien door het rode haar wat lastig te herkennen, maar ze is de enige echte Elvira. Cassandra worstelde regelmatig met haar persoonlijkheid tot ze uiteindelijk bij Elvira uitkwam. In de jaren 70’ stapte ze over van showgirl naar zangeres in een rockband en kwam zo uiteindelijk aan diverse kleine rollen in films en series.
Ze werd pas groot als Elvira tegen het einde van de jaren 80’ aan in de film Elvira: Mistress of the Dark. Later speelde ze ditzelfde karakter op televisie in een paar kleine rollen. Cassandra is nu bekend als veganist en ze zet zich in voor PETA.
