Habiendo vivido con una dieta rica en carbohidratos durante toda su infancia, el peso de la estrella de la televisión llegó a ser de 340 libras en un momento dado.

Cuando se sometió a la cirugía de bypass gástrico, Roker fue capaz de deshacerse de más de 100 libras, y afortunadamente, no hubo efectos secundarios graves del proceso.
