Musician Alicia Keys is a woman who stands out no matter what. VH1 included her on its list of the ‘100 Greatest Artists of All Time.’ And in 2017 and 2005, Time selected her as one of the ‘100 Most Influential People.’ Sometime in 2016, Alicia made known to everyone her opinion that it was OK to go without makeup.
She started a trend alright, which was no surprise. Alicia turned up at the VMAs makeup-free, and when she was with the TV show The Voice, she kept her fresh-faced look the entire time. Of course, not everyone would and could do this. But then not everyone looks as good as Alicia does bare-faced.
