Al Roker: 45 Quilos – Cirurgia Gástrica
Famoso por seu sorriso contagiante, Al Roker de Today certamente vive uma vida saudável hoje em dia. Mas, para chegar onde está, ele teve que sofrer um pouco. Tendo vivido com uma dieta rica em carboidratos durante sua infância, a estrela de TV chegou a pesar quase 160 quilos em um ponto de sua vida.
Ao contrário de muitos, o que o fez perder peso não foi o sentimento de autorrealização que teria, mas sim uma promessa que fez ao seu pai doente. Ao decidir fazer a cirurgia gástrica, Roker conseguiu se livrar de mais de 45 quilos e, agradecidamente, não houve efeito colaterais sérios. Aparentemente, ele é uma pessoa completamente nova!
