If you are a die-hard fan of the Star Wars franchise, then you sure know about Jake Lloyd, if not by name, then by his face. He played the character of Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace which was released in 1999. The kid was adorable, and we all fell in love with his incredible performance. Having started acting at seven, it was quite surprising how much acting prowess this kid possessed, and we had a lot of expectations for his career. Sadly, Lloyd retired from acting in 2001, reportedly due to bullying at his school. His acting portfolio did not grow after 2001, and in 2016, it was revealed that the once-famous Jake Lloyd was suffering from schizophrenia, so we don’t think we’d be seeing him on the screen anytime soon as well.
