From 1999 to 2016, Jeanie Buss and Phil Jackson seemed like one of those perfect celebrity couples. He was an NBA legend, who succeeded as a player, coach, and team president. She was the daughter of a real estate tycoon who loved sports and worked as a sports executive for her father’s NBA franchise, the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss and Jackson became engaged in 2012, but the wedding never happened. Four years later, the couple announced their break-up. In an interview, Buss admitted that their relationship was no longer sustainable, but pointed out that she spent wonderful moments with Jackson and that the two had decided to remain friends.
