Pendant environ 9 ans, la star de la NBA Al Horford a joué pour les Atlanta Hawks. Le quintuple NBA All-Star a rejoint les Boston Celtics en 2016. Il fait également partie de l’équipe nationale de la République dominicaine. Horford a épousé Amelia Vega en 2011 après l’avoir apparemment fréquentée pendant deux ans.
Vega est une ancienne reine de beauté de la République dominicaine connue pour avoir remporté le concours Miss Univers en 2003. En janvier 2018, le couple a annoncé qu’elle était enceinte de leur troisième enfant. Ils ont un fils et une fille nés respectivement en 2015 et 2016.
