Janis Paige – Age 96

Singer and actress Janis Paige grew famous from her stellar Broadway performances. She appeared in Remains To Be Seen and The Pajama Game. In no time, she was set to star in TV shows and films and she got her very own star on Hollywood Boulevard. There was a rough patch in her career where poor voice coaching resulted in the loss of her voice but fortunately, she recovered. Were we in her shoes, we’d press for as much compensation as our injury insurance could give! In 2017 when she was 95, Paige penned a column published by The Hollywood Reporter stating that Alfred Bloomingdale attempted to physically assault her when she was 22.

 

Jacqueline White – Age 96

Here’s another star you may have thought was long gone. Jacqueline White is 95 but is still alive and well. She had a rather brief acting career and opted for retirement in 1950 to settle into marriage after tying the knot with Bruce Anderson. She was actually already retired when she accepted the role in The Narrow Margin. She came to LA to give birth to her first child when Stanley Rubin offered her the role. After so many years, she became active again since 2005 and occasionally appears at some events.
