Manuela Moura Guedes nasceu em Cadaval, Portugal. Graduada em Direito, pela Universidade de Lisboa, chegou a ser monitoria. Porém, foi no ramo artístico que ela se encontrou. Gravou alguns singles e na TV atuou como comentarista. Migrou para a vida política, onde foi eleita como deputada. Foi âncora do Jornal Nacional e anos depois comentarista política e social pelo Jornal da Noite.
Filha de Maria Tereza Guedes e Secundino Pereira, a primogênita é irmã de Luís e Manuel. Atualmente está casada com José Eduardo Moniz. Madalena que não seguiu os passos da mãe, cursou Comunicação Empresarial.
