We’ve all seen the usual wedding photos on social media in recent years, mostly featuring traditional poses. So, it’s pretty refreshing to finally have a couple who isn’t afraid to have a bit of fun—even if it means getting wet in the process.

Judging by how thrilled they look, it’s safe to say this theme was entirely their idea. They probably didn’t want to be a cliché and skip all the cheesy post-nuptial photos newlyweds are so keen at doing these days. Even if they seem comedic, we’d have to say it’s still pretty romantic since the two are clearly besotted and comfortable around each other; now that’s true love.

It’s a given fact that contact sports like hockey are dangerous; that’s why it requires players to wear ample protection like padded shirts and helmets. Well, this man should thank the lucky stars he had one on since he would’ve been badly hurt without it.

Check out the horrified look in his eyes just as the hockey puck is about to hit his face—it’s as if the poor fellow’s entire life is flashing right before his eyes! Regardless, we think this picture might actually make a good marketing ad for sports safety or perhaps if someone wants to increase hockey puck sales. Wouldn’t that be interesting?

 

The Flying Bicycle Man

Extreme sports get described as ‘extreme’ for a reason, which is why it’s not as common as basketball or football. One misstep could put a person in grave danger, especially if it involves something like off-road cycling. Take a look at his man, for instance—the front wheel of his vehicle must have hit a misshapen rock since he’s about to fall flat on his face.

Such a scenario would usually scare any regular folk, but we suspect this is a common occurrence in these types of events since the spectators behind are acting like nothing’s happening. Anyway, let’s just hope this poor guy wasn’t seriously injured.
