Raising a child is difficult, but also a very rewarding experience in one’s life. It is challenging to set a good example for our young ones, and turn them into model citizens in this tough world we live in. It’s even more challenging when you’re bringing up a child while you’re one of the most famous people in the world.

Some celebrity children tend to go down the wrong path, ending up in drug and alcohol rehab and some even had to resort to counseling to recover from their parents’ pressure from fame. It’s hard being a parent, but it’s even more difficult for a celebrity parent. Here’s what happened to your favorite celebrities’ kids now that they are all grown up.

Kai Dugan – Much Taller Than His Famous Mom

Actress Jennifer Connelly has won acclaim for roles as diverse as the wife of a schizophrenic patient in A Beautiful Mind and an addict facing eviction for defaulting on her mortgage in The House of Sand and Fog. Connelly has three children, the oldest of whom is Kai Dugan, from her relationship with photographer David Dugan.

Although Kai certainly has his mom’s attractive features and color palette, the then-16-year-old stood nearly a head taller than her when he accompanied her to an event in New York City in 2013. Connelly is now set to appear in the next Top Gun film, Top Gun: Maverick.
