David Villa a joué pour des clubs de football comme Valence, Barcelone et New York City, mais depuis 2019, il joue pour le Vissel Kobe. Villa faisait également partie de l’équipe nationale d’Espagne qui a gagné la Coupe du Monde en 2010.
David est marié à Patricia González depuis 2003 et elle était elle aussi footballeuse dans son jeune âge. Le couple a trois enfants : Luca, Olaya et Zaida.
