Michael Oliver

Michael Oliver is best known for his role as Junior in the movie Problem Child. Junior was a seven-year old orphan who caused a lot of problems for his TV family. In the movie they say that “He’s so bad even the nuns refused to keep him!” 

Oliver was born and raised in Los Angeles and started his career as a baby model at age two. The movie Problem Child was so successful that the producers decided two film a second part. Universal studios sued his mother who also acted as his manager for extorting his acting contract with the studio. One day all of a sudden she threatened to remover Oliver unless the studio would raise his payment from US$ 80,000 to US$ 500,000.Universal pictures had paid her already US$ 250,000 but a superior court jury decided that the contract was unenforceable and so they had to pay back the difference between the amount paid and the US$ 80,0000 that were originally negotiated.

He appeared in the movie Dillinger and Capone in 1995 and afterwards retired from acting.The now 34 year old Oliver is very grateful for his experience as child actor but happy to no more be in the spotlight. After dating his longtime girlfriend they got married in 2016.
