Tia and Tamera Mowry


Tia Dashon Mowry and Tamera Darvette Mowry are identical twins who work as actresses and models. They first gained popularity for their teen role on the ABC sitcom Sister, Sister. Their parents served in the U.S. Army and when they were stationed in Fort Hood the two sisters were participating in talent shows but unfortunately they didn’t really get any jobs and so they convinced their mother to move to California. Once they moved there they immediately began appearing in commercials and small roles. Their brother is also an actor and was appearing regularly on the set of Full House and this is where the two sisters where discovered.

After the show Sister, Sister ended they both decided to study Psychology at Peperdine University. They also featured in a reality TV show Tia & Tamera that run for three seasons from 2011 to 2013. Tia engaged in 2006 to her longtime boyfriend and in 2011 their son was born. Tamera married Adam Housley after dating for almost six years. They have two children together. Both sisters are devoted Christians.Today, Tia has concentrated on her acting career, while her sister Tamera hosts The Real talk show alongside Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Adrienne Bailon.
