Carmen Sevilla es toda una leyenda de la industria del entretenimiento español, que vio surgir y mutar a la misma industria durante toda su carrera. Debutó a finales de la década de los cuarenta cuando era una adolescente, influenciada por su familia donde abundaban los artistas.
Conforme pasaron los años se convirtió en una referente del cine español, del cual terminó de alejarse a finales de los años setenta. Más tarde volvió a la televisión e inició una carrera como cantante. Actualmente, esta polifacética artista tiene 92 años y está completamente retirada de los medios a causa de su avanzada edad.
