Doris Day – Animal Rights Activist at 96
Doris Day started her career as a singer but then she decided to act in the films. Her role in Romance on the High Seas became a hit – making her fans wish she’d continue to act. She continued to impress with her later performances but she also faced financial difficulties as she filed for bankruptcy at one stage in her career. Later in her career, she became interested in animals and dedicated her life to helping save animals through her Doris Day Animal Foundation.
