Erik Estrada – A Real Police Officer
As someone who grew up with a father who tended to be dragged into a rehab center for drugs, Erik Estrada didn’t have an easy time growing up. But when he became the ’70s hero on CHiPs, it seemed like he’d already paid his dues and he’s now getting something in return. As a California Highway Patrolman, he was able to entertain tons of people– probably fans from before. And in the 2007 movie CHiPs, he likewise made a brief cameo as a paramedic. Fun fact: in real life, Estrada used to be a full-time deputy sheriff and reserve police officer.
