Maria Shriver may have stuck by her husband’s side over the years and through his career as an actor and politician, but the Emmy award-winning journalist was certainly not going to get roped-in and dragged down with scandal. So, when news of Schwarzenegger’s affair and illegitimate child broke, the one-time politician’s wife bowed out of their 25-year-old marriage. Reports suggested that six years after filing for the divorce, Shriver, and Schwarzenegger are in an ongoing battle regarding an ideal divorce deal that’ll favor each party as they split their $400-million net worth. We sure hope they get around to it soon.
