Mr. Whipple; Quaker Oats Man; Marlboro Man; Alfred E. Neuman; 2
Garb in the full-on quaker outfit, the ‘Quaker Oats man’ has decorated Quaker food bundles for over 135 years. Contrary to popular belief, the Quaker fellow is not William Penn. The illustration of the so-called Larry was used in agreement with the highly regarded Quaker faith; honesty, integrity, purity, and strength.
