Ele se tornou conhecido por papéis em series como O Homem de Seis Milhões de Dólares, Duro na Queda, e até mesmoOwen Marshal: Counselorat Law. Ele agora possui um patrimônio estimado em $15 milhões e tem 80 anos de idade.
Entretanto, apesar da idade, ele não parece ter planos para se aposentar tão cedo. Na verdade, em 2020, ele está participando de um filme chamado Narcos Sub. Sobretudo, Lee foi casado quatro vezes, estando atualmente com Faith Noelle Cross, desde 2002 e tem quatro filhos.
