Anyone who’s seen the ‘Tiger King’ would recognize Carole Baskin as the devoted woman who oversees an animal sanctuary called ‘Big Cat Rescue’ alongside her husband, Howard Baskin. Since both share the same passion for rescuing wild animals, it comes as no surprise that the duo met by chance at an event for animal advocacy sometime in 2002.

It seems the two really hit it off that day as Carole and Howard eventually tied the knot just two years after their first hello. Despite all the issues that came their way, this power couple remained steadfast and supported each other through every challenge and win in life.
