Erykah Badu, la chanteuse et compositrice emblématique de Dallas, a marqué les esprits lors du Met Gala 2023 en portant une création sur mesure de Marni par Francesco Risso sous la forme d’un ensemble tout en blanc. Cette pièce étonnante a été réalisée avec 90 000 mètres de fil coupé sur mesure, ornée de perles et de cristaux cousus à la main, démontrant un savoir-faire extraordinaire.
Le look de Erykah était complété par une perruque blanche fluide, couvrant partiellement son visage et ajoutant une aura de mystère. Elle était venue au gala avec sa fille Puma Curry qui portait elle aussi une pièce de la collection de Francesco Risso, formant ainsi un duo élégant avec sa mère.
