In 2016, the world was shocked to learn of Keith Emerson’s untimely demise. He was one of the most innovative keyboardists in music history, who came into the limelight as part of the rock band ‘Emerson, Lake & Palmer.’ Considered a gentle soul, he had always considered Sussex as his home.
Most of the initial stage of Keith’s career in the ‘70s and ‘80s as a musician was spent in a 600-year-old timber-framed house in the countryside. The Stonehill house in the 4,344-square-foot property had a luxurious pool, a full-size tennis court, and a landscaped garden, including an orangery. It was a perfect place for him to unwind between tours.
