Hollywood Golden Age Stars Who Are Still With US
Ginger Baker – Age 79
Ginger Baker turns 80 in 2019, and it certainly is a milestone age. Baker takes the credit for having founded Cream, a successful Brit rock band, with Jack Bruce, and Eric Clapton. As most bands do, they disbanded and Baker went solo, subsequently releasing many albums of his own. He is known for his unique sound – a combination of jazz, drums, and African rhythm. In 2016, Baker shared that he was struggling with heart disease as a result of years of smoking, and actually had to cancel his tour in February of that same year.
