Murray Walker – Age 95
Murray Walker was once a Grand Prix commentator and a journalist, but he is now in retirement. Walker is best recognized for having covered the Formula 1 show on BBC between the years 1976 and 1996. Walker also commentated between 1997 and 2001 for ITV. As a result of his enthusiasm and his authoritative voice, his fans dubbed his mistakes ‘Murrayisms.’ He is widely considered to have been the best commentator in the history of sports commentary, and he went back into broadcasting in 2005 in spite of his retirement since 2001. He is also an author of Murray Walker’s Formula One Heroes.
