Yes, the ‘Jolene’ singer first crossed paths with her future husband in a Nashville laundromat when she was still a teenager before she even became a country superstar. Now, they’ve been married for over half a century!
Despite Dolly’s massive success in the music industry, it’s interesting how Carl rarely goes out to watch his beloved wife perform onstage. It’s not like he doesn’t want to support her or anything, but Dean feels like a nervous fan the minute Parton starts to belt her tunes.
