Una grave malattia, quale è un tumore, ha infatti sconvolto la sua vita e Corrado e si è impegnato a combatterla strenuamente, finché è riuscito a vincere la sua battaglia. Dopo questa malattia, come gran parte delle persone che escono da una dura battaglia, Corrado ha rivisto i valori della sua vita. Oggi e preferisce il teatro alla televisione e fa questa esperienza condividendola con la figlia.
