Kate a également fait dans le cinéma, avec des rôles dans des films comme ‘The Other Woman’ et ‘Tower Heist’. En 2014, Upton a commencé à sortir avec Justin Verlander des Houston Astros. Ils se sont mariés un an plus tard, et ont eu leur premier enfant, une adorable fille nommée Verlander, en novembre 2018.
