Pop sensation Prince was well known for romancing his costars and collaborators, but he didn’t marry one until he met dancer Mayte Garcia. Like Elvis and Priscilla, this couple met in Germany; Prince was on tour, while army brat Garcia was living there. After hiring her as a backup dancer, Prince married Mayte in his native Minneapolis. They stayed together for four years, before calling up divorce attorneys and splitting up in 2000 after a stillbirth and a miscarriage took a toll on the marriage. Prince passed away in 2016 without any children. His vast inheritance of $200 million was split among his siblings.
