Captain Kirk to some, Priceline spokesman to others, William Shatner has been at least one thing consistently: unlucky in love. The actor’s first two marriages ended in visits to divorce attorneys, while his third was tragically cut short when wife Nerine Kidd accidentally drowned in their pool in 1999. The incident had a serious impact on Shatner’s mental health for some time, but he reportedly found some solace in his friendship with Star Trek costar Leonard Nimoy. Happily, Shatner seems to have found happiness with horse trainer Elizabeth Martin, whom he married in 2001.
