Shannon Tweed and Gene Simmons – 8 years
Shannon Tweed found her way to the pages of Playboy after the Canadian proto-reality TV series Thrill of a Lifetime granted her wish to model for the magazine. That one bit of luck propelled Tweed into a brief relationship with Hugh Hefner and then on to a more permanent partnership with Kiss bassist Gene Simmons. Simmons, who has made millions after the band’s breakup by accurately assessing the market outlook among fans for Kiss merchandise, has been with Tweed since 1983; the two got married in 2011.
