Jason Alexander conoció a su esposa de más de tres décadas, Daena E. Title, cuando ella vino a audicionar para un papel de extra, en una agencia de casting donde él trabajaba. Sin saber que querría hacer ella en su primera cita, Alexander retiró 1000 dólares de su cuenta bancaria, que era todo lo que tenía. En tres semanas, los dos estaban viviendo juntos. Alexander le propuso matrimonio a Daena después de seis semanas de estar conviviendo. Lo hizo en tres ocasiones, de las cuales ella lo rechazó en todas.
