Svante Thunberg è il padre della ormai arcinota Greta Thunberg, il cui impegno nella difesa dell’ambiente è di dominio internazionale. Greta ha quasi vent’anni ma fin da quando era adolescente ha iniziato a sensibilizzare i governi e l’opinione pubblica per ciò che concerne il cambiamento climatico, l’inquinamento e tutte le tematiche green ad esso connesse.
Sostenuta ampiamente dai genitori, la giovane oggi è diventata l’attivista più famosa del mondo, presente sui social e capace di focalizzare l’attenzione dei movimenti studenteschi di tutto il pianeta. I “Fridays for Futures” sono l’esempio lampante della lotta pacifica che Greta e i suoi sostenitori intraprendono per la conservazione dell’ambiente, attraverso scioperi di massa organizzati.
