Actors Who Cross-Dressed On Screen: Which Star Looks Better as a Woman?
Felicity Huffman – Transamerica
Upcoming comedy film Otherhood star, Felicity Huffman, portrayed the character of Bree, a transgender woman in the 2005 comedy-drama flick, Transamerica. Not many knew at the time that the film was partly inspired by real conversations between Duncan Tucker, the writer-director of the movie, and his then-roommate, Katherine Connella.
The movie describes the story of Bree who takes a rather eventful road trip with her long-lost son, Toby (played by Kevin Zegers). The film premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival in February 2005 and hit US theaters in December the same year. It won accolades from critics and won several awards in various categories.
