Quem não quer ser dono de uma ilha? Bem, Leonardo DiCaprio, o playboy ecologista, comprou a si mesmo uma ilha de 42 hectares, em 2005, conhecida como Blackadore Caye, em Belize. DiCcaprio investiu milhões para transformar seu projeto de estimação em um resort ecológico luxuoso que engloba 36 casas residenciais e 36 moradias (tudo será vendido a cerca de US$ 5 milhões cada). A construção está quase concluída e tudo foi construído usando materiais locais e com alimentação por painéis solares. Sendo totalmente ecológica, todos os veículos da ilha usarão energia limpa e somente garrafas de água reutilizáveis serão vendidas. A comida também será produzida localmente e será orgânica.
