Sissy Spacek – Geboren in 1949
Sissy Spacek heet eigenlijk Mary Elizabeth Spacek en kreeg de bijnaam Sissy van haar oudere broers. Zij startte haar carrière als country zangeres en begon al snel met acteren in films. Ze brak door met haar rol in de horrorfilm Carrie, waarin een tienermeisje telekinetische gaven ontwikkelde en gebruikte om haar pestkoppen er eens flink van langs te geven.
Hoewel Sissy de zeventig al is gepasseerd, zien we haar nog steeds verschijnen in films als The Old Man and the Gun (2018) en is zij fanatiek activiste voor vrouwenrechten. Ze is de jongste niet meer, maar ziet er nog steeds fris uit.
