Glennis Grace groeide op in de Amsterdamse Jordaan. Als kind was zij al met muziek bezig en werd hierin aangemoedigd door haar familie. In de thuisstudio van haar opa repeteerde zij en ontwikkelde ze zichzelf. Op 16-jarige leeftijd won zij de Soundmixshow als Whitney Houston.
Glennis is één van de meest gerespecteerde muzikanten in Nederland, vooral omdat ze haar ziel nooit heeft verkocht aan de inhalige platenmaatschappijen en de bizarre Nederlandse entertainmentindustrie, waarin rare mannen met gele zwembroekjes meer succes lijken te hebben dan het echte talent. Glennis verkocht haar villa in Almere om terug te keren naar Amsterdam, maar woont inmiddels weer in Almere en verkocht haar appartement in Amsterdam voor 750.000 euro.
