Het lijkt erop alsof The Weeknd niet alleen getalenteerd is als het aankomt op hits uitbrengen, maar ook in het investeren in vastgoed. Hij bewees zijn wijsheid hierin toen hij een prachtig huis in de Hollywood Hills kocht in 2017 voor $20 miljoen.
Het huis lijkt perfect voor een jonge ster als hem. Het is meer dan 1114 vierkante meter groot en heeft allerlei soorten moderne voorzieningen. Zo zijn er bijvoorbeeld negen slaapkamers, een paardenstal, elf badkamers, overdekte terrassen, een keuken voorzien van alle gemakken, deuren van staal en glas, een woonruimte buiten en nog veel meer. In 2018 werd bekend dat The Weeknd aan nieuw materiaal aan het werken is.
