Carice Van Houton is a Dutch actress who earned critical appreciation and an award for her role in Suzy Q before international fans got to see her talents in 2008’s Valkyrie. But the fame she got after appearing in Game of Thrones as the Red Woman Melissandra is beyond anything she ever expected. With the final season coming to a close, the 42-year old Dutch actress is already known all over the globe. She currently lives in Amsterdam near Vonderlpark. She dated British actor Guy Pearce and both have a son together.
