Thora Birch became known around the world for her performance in the critically acclaimed film American Beauty, and she commanded earnings in the seven-figures for her role in the 2001 film The Hole to capitalize on that fame. However, the film received mixed reactions. She tried again with Ghost World and received a Golden Globe nomination for her role, but her career waned after that, with only supporting roles and TV spots available to her. Although she is still working, she did take a short break in between 2012 to 2016, so that’s why we haven’t seen her around a lot.
